The Basics Lesson

The skateboard class you've been looking for

Group size: 2-3 skaters Ages: 6+ You already know how to push, turn, and stop. Now it’s time to get comfortable riding small features at the skatepark and begin to form your first tricks. These semi-private lessons are perfect for beginners looking for their next steps. You can expect to be riding small features and learning basic tricks. We can accommodate a skater approaching the intermediate level by providing more challenging skills to learn on the same feature as your beginner classmates. If you can already drop in, ollie, shuv-it, or kickflip, we recommend a private lesson or waiting for intermediate-advanced summer camp. This is the lesson where we begin to tackle the ollie, your foundation for many skateboard tricks. Don’t expect to learn this move in one day, though. It can take months to get the hang of and years to perfect. But don’t sweat, there are lots of other tricks to learn in the meantime! We’ll do those too. We’re here to get you started.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation within 24 hours of a class start time. Late cancellations will not be refunded. Contact us if you would like to reschedule, but know that we fill up quickly and may not always be able to accommodate a make up lesson.
